Zenless Zone Zero 2.2 Livestream Date, Time, Countdown, Characters, and Rewards

The Zenless Zone Zero livestream for version 2.2 will be the next opportunity to see a whole new slew of exciting news updates for the game including new characters, a story event, as well as an opportunity to see a few exclusive rewards first-hand.

Version 2.2 Live Stream Schedule

Version 2.2 is called “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” and is going to be livestreamed on August 22, 2025, at 7:30 PM UTC+8. The livestream will be shown on the official YouTube and Twitch channels for Zenless Zone Zero which means players from different regions can join into the stream without worrying about location restrictions.

What Players Can Expect During the Livestream

The livestream will showcase two new characters, Seed and Orphie & Magus, who belong to the Obol Squad faction. Both characters will be shown with detailed demonstrations of their combat abilities and story quests. Viewers will get some insight into how these characters fit into the game’s narrative and combat systems.

On top of that, a special redemption code will be shared during the livestream, which can be used to get up to 300 Polychrome and other in-game resources, redeemable through the official HoYoverse website or the HoYoLAB app. The upcoming Version 2.2 update is slated to launch on September 4, 2025, with servers going offline for approximately five hours beforehand.

Version 2.2, titled ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night,’ picks up from the fallout after the Miasmic Fiend’s defeat—focusing on Obol Squad’s Isolde and Seed and teasing deeper intrigue involving the Phaethon siblings’ Perception technique. The update’s six-week cycle is expected to conclude around October 16, 2025, following the early-September release
