The popular Counter-Strike podcast “Talking Counter” channel has been banned from YouTube. Chad ” SPUNJ ” Burchill, one of the hosts of this podcast, announced on his Twitter the banning of the channel.
SPUNJ does not understand the reasons and expresses himself with the words, “What the fuck.”

Talking Counter
Talking Counter is a podcast aimed at the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community hosted by Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill, Jason “moses” O’Toole, and Janko “YNk” Paunović has been permanently banned from YouTube, according to SPUNJ.
According to Burchill, YouTube did not give an exact reason for the removal, although he suspects that the bans are sometimes related to foul language. In the email sent by YouTube, the channel was removed because the company wanted to make the platform “a safe place for everyone,” and the videos violated unidentified rules.
According to the YouTube statement, the channel was banned for “serious or repeated violations” of the “YouTube Community Guidelines.”
28 “Talking Counter” podcast episodes were recorded and posted on different platforms. The last of them was published last February 1, and one of the fans pointed out that the channel had been banned while watching the episode.

Surprised by the situation, SPUNJ posted a screenshot with the ban message from YouTube.
The ban is permanent
The fact that YouTube has permanently banned them means they cannot access, own or create other channels with the same email address. Moreover, when attempting to enter Talking Counter’s YouTube channel, a message indicates that the channel has been removed for “violating Community Guidelines.”

In these cases, YouTube never discloses the exact reasons for the ban. They mention that the channel has violated the Community Guidelines. On the other hand, the host SPUNJ claims that it has never received any warning via email from YouTube.
“I would also like to add that there was no warning email (at all) regarding vulgar language in previous episodes. So I don’t even think it was for the use of profanity… baffled.”

Twitter uproar after the news
Since the host made the post on Twitter, many people have echoed this inexplicable situation. In addition, an official YouTube account has joined the thread and requested the channel’s official URL.
sorry to hear that! can you send your channel URL?

It is unclear if YouTube will decide to reverse the situation; it will likely do so only if it is proven that the banning was in error.
On the other hand, if Talking Counter cannot return to YouTube, hosts SPUNJ, YNk, and Moses will have to publish their podcast on other platforms in the future. Unless they try to create a new account and upload the podcast to YouTube.
