Great news is coming for Fortnite players on Xbox: starting on November 18, 2025, Fortnite Crew will be included as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and will automatically grant 1,000 free V-bucks every month.
This represents one of the biggest value increases Xbox has ever provided to its Game Pass Ultimate subscribers after the price raise of Game Pass recently. Not that the price raise is received similarly across players, but the addition of a full Fortnite Crew subscription is also one of the major positives that players see in moving forwards.

Fortnite Crew is Epic Games’ premium subscription membership service that is offered monthly for US$11.99 / £9.99. The benefits of a Fortnite Crew account include:

Receiving 1,000 V-bucks each month is beneficial for players who buy skins, emotes, or to gain pass tiers. Even buying V-bucks separately tends to cost less, but with Fortnite Crew, for those already paying for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you are receiving extra value with items from Crew.
Cross Play Support
Fortnite will be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. You can access and enjoy your progress, purchases, and Crew rewards across Xbox consoles, PCs, or any supported handheld devices.
