Kuro Games has announced that a collaboration event featuring the Persona franchise and Sonic the Hedgehog would come to Wuthering Waves with the version 3.0 update on December 25, 2025. This collaboration is a major crossover of the open-world action RPG, which eventually gets two of the most iconic gaming properties owned by SEGA, to introduce cosmetic content and in-game collectables to the game.
