The action-RPG gacha game Wuthering Waves by Kuro Games is reportedly gearing toward a 3.0 update, and leaks are circulating for it. According to sources, 3.0 will likely introduce two 5-star Resonators and even a brand-new region. A lot of this is based on leaks, and nothing has been officially announced. Here’s what’s believed to be planned and where things seem to be solid.

New 5-Star Characters: Monin and Linnea

  • According to leaks, two new female 5 Star Resonators are coming with 3.0: Monin and Linnea.
  • Monin is rumoured to be a Fusion Resonator utilizing Broadblade and Linnea will be a Spectro Resonator utilizing pistols.
  • We do not know the order in which they will be released.
  • These names are based off various leaks and translations; it is likely the English names will differ from Monin and Linnea.

New Region / World Expansion

  • Version 3.0 may feature a new faction called Lahailo, which may also be referred to as Lahai-Roi.
  • The climate is described as frozen and northern, possibly with underground levels that could also be home to academies for Resonators/researchers.
  • Some community leaks comment about a strong emphasis on science and technology in the land, including the importance of “chemical research.”

Banner Structure & Mechanics

  • There may be multiple banners and a possible “triple banner” type in 3.0.
  • It is also mentioned that there may be some kind of Fusion Burst, possibly relevant to Monin.
  • Leaks also mention at least one rerun banner in 3.0.

Conclusion

The 3.0 banner leaks still haven’t been officially confirmed by Kuro Games. While players should be cautiously optimistic, and many of the leaks are corroborated, leaks remain unconfirmed until they come from Kuro Games. Until Kuro Games announces, there is always a possibility that things may change.
