Wuthering Waves is going to receive a big update with version 2.6, and from early leaks, there’s four new Echoes that could end up making a big difference in team comps and how fights play out. There’s two Cost 4 ones and two that cost 3, and they’ll be adding some new offensive stuff and unique buffs. These Echoes are also supposed to come with some new Sonata Effect, though we still don’t really know how it’s meant to work yet.

How These Echoes May Impact Gameplay

If things go as the leaks say, then these new Echoes will give players more ways to build teams around different elements like Aero, Electro, Fusion, and Havoc. Each Echo leans into a different role in fights, making teams a bit more focused:
- False Sovereign is great for burst damage and heavy attack combos.
- Lady of the Sea helps with AoE damage and more Liberation skill usage.
- Phantom: Kerasaur lets players move quick and land double strikes.
- Corrosaurus boosts Echo Skill builds with big, direct hits.
Even though this info isn’t official yet and things could still change, version 2.6 is probably going to bring a shift in how people pick Echoes and put their teams together. Players who want top performance should be ready to rethink their setups when these Echoes come out.
