Week 1: World Level 10 and Hero’s Realm

The January updates kick off on January 4 with the World Level cap rising to 10 for Solo Play. This unlocks Unbound, a new feature Everstone Studio is keeping under wraps for now.

At the same time, Hero’s Realm: Sorrow of Mortalbound opens. It will offer a 10-player activity for groups seeking tough challenges. These updates give you a clear way to keep moving forward if you’ve already finished the current content. While the new group challenges let you play again and again.

Week 2: Update 1.2 and the Kaifeng Campaign

The main event comes on January 8 with Update 1.2. You can start Legacy Quests, exploring new stories and goals, while the Kaifeng Campaign adds a big new part to the game’s story.

All the competitive players can take on the Nameless General, a strong new world boss that needs teamwork to defeat. The update also brings the limited-time Jianghu Martial Games event, with special activities and one-of-a-kind rewards.

Week 3: Puzzles and Guild Warfare

January 15 brings Mistveil Prison, a Puzzle Cave that tests your thinking skills instead of fighting skills. This adds something different to the game besides the usual MMO content.

On January 16, the pre-season for Guild vs. Guild battles begins. These huge 30v30 fights need a lot of teamwork and are the game’s biggest player-versus-player battles so far. January 22 also adds the Nine Mortal Ways Base, a new area that looks smaller and might be a separate zone, giving players new places to explore.

Week 4: Story Finale and Festival Events

The story finishes on January 25 with Whispers Beneath the Moon, moving the current story forward and keeping you interested in the game’s story.

January 29 starts the Year of Abundance and Season-End Dash events. These happen during Chinese New Year, so you can look forward to special outfits, mini-games, and fun activities like last year’s worldwide events.
