After the conclusion of the historical M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the location has been revealed for the next M7 World Championship and the glorious M series tournament will make its return in Jakarta, Indonesia for the second time around.
The news was made public early on this year during the M6 summit discussion where Moontoon officially announced the date and location of the next major event.
Indonesia: One of The Biggest ML Community
For the world famous Multiplayer Online Battle Arena—Mobile Legends BangBang, there has been a great rise in its popularity which greatly increased both its player and fan base. One of the regions where the game has the biggest community is none other than the Indonesian fan/player base. For them, gaming, especially Mobile Legends, is considered to be a major esport that the country proudly supports.
The first ever tournament of the M Series was won by the Indonesian Esport Team EVOS Legends. It was a big start for the country, however, the following M series World Championship was then dominated by the Filipino teams.
Indonesia has yet to reclaim a trophy and usually ends up in runner up places. Still, even after countless defeats, the Indonesian spirit never waned and continued to compete. Their strongest teams are hungry and eager to go to the location of the next battlefield for the M7 World Championship.
Hosting M Series For The Second Time
The very first time that the grandest tournament of Mobile Legends was held in Indonesia was during the M4 World Championship, Indonesian fans were surely fired up and excited to watch their best players and teams compete and hopefully get their hands on the prestigious trophy once more as they battled in their home court.
With a heartbreaking conclusion, it wasn’t a battle of Indonesia versus Philippines, rather a battle between two Filipino esport teams, ECHO esports and the defending champions Blacklist International. One again, the Indonesian teams were denied the victory.
After the end of this year’s M6 tournament that was won by the reigning country’s champions, Fnatic Onic PH. The upcoming M7 World Championship will once again have Jakarta, Indonesia as the hosting location and will happen in January 2026. With this news right after the year’s event, Indonesian Esport teams and their whole community have their eyes set on the trophy.

The M6 saw brilliance and attained massive success, it was certainly a legendary event to be added to the rich history of Mobile Legends.
