A new chapter begins for Martin “Rekkles” Larsson. The rollercoaster ride journey of one of Europe’s best League of Legends (LoL) pro players has now brought him to Los Ratones, set to debut in a new roster soon. Rekkles has almost experienced it all, from being an LEC ADC star, to a T1 Academy support player, and even a Worlds champion as the sixth man for T1’s ZOFGK. As he joins yet another team in his story, fans wonder when Rekkles will play with Los Ratones.

Before his new debut, Rekkles’ journey has been anything but typical. Yet, these experiences are what makes his return to the competitive scene exciting to watch and follow.

Rekkles has played mainly for LEC teams like G2 Esports, Karmine Corps, and Fnatic, making a name for himself as one of the region’s best ADCs. He surprised the League community in 2023 when he decided to move to South Korea and enter the Academy roster of five-time Worlds winner organization, T1.

Rekkles switched to the Support role in T1 Academy and played in the LCK Challengers League. He stayed with the organization until November 2024, after winning Worlds as the substitute player for T1’s main roster. He then took a short break before making the announcement that he will be leaving T1 Academy to play closer to his home country, Sweden.

Shortly after, on November 15, his position in Los Ratones was revealed. The new organization, founded by former pro gamer and streamer Marc “Caedrel” Lamont is under the LEC and will compete in the NLC, one of the region’s Tier 2 leagues. Continuing to play in the Support position, Rekkles is joined by teammates:

  • Simon “thebausffs” Hofverberg in the Top Lane,
  • Veljko “Velja” Čamdžić as the Jungler,
  • Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek in the Mid Lane, and
  • Juš “Crownie” Marušič as the ADC/Bot Laner

with Caedrel as their coach. This roster has quickly risen as a promising contender in the European regional leagues. Considering Caedrel’s influence with being among the community’s most beloved content creators, combined with the skills and experience of the members, Los Ratones has already garnered massive support.

  • France: Karmine Corps, Gentle Mates
  • Germany: G2 Esports, NNO Old

While waiting for Rekkles, Los Ratones have already made waves in the competitive scene. The team recently clinched victory in the NNO Cup Season 2, with Caedrel temporarily filling the support role. In a Twitch stream before the tournament, Nemesis revealed that Rekkles is on vacation with his family for about two weeks, which was why he couldn’t play.
