When Is Marvel Rivals Coming to PS4? Season 4 Release, New Heroes and Gameplay Updates

The PS4 version of Marvel Rivals release on September 12, 2025, on same day when Season 4 begin. This mean the game expand beyond PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and reach more players. The announcement was confirmed already through Season 4 trailer and many gaming outlet also reported it.

Season 4 is bringing much new content and changes. Two new heros introduced here:

• Angela, a Vanguard class from Asgard, fighting with powerful melee skills.
• Daredevil, the street hero of Hell’s Kitchen, making debut and add more story depth.

Also new map arrive later in season: K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven, launching September 25, 2025. This battleground mixing Capture Point and Payload playstyle, with mystical background design.

Gameplay Enhancements

The update add one new Team-Up ability for better co-op fighting. Arcade Mode also changing, now it include permanent popular modes such as Clone Rumble and Giant-Size Brain Blast. Also there updates for quality of life, bug fixing and balancing, all to make gameplay more smoother on all platforms.
