TSM FTX benches drone, looks for new player. Taylor “Drone” Johnson has been one of the longest members of TSM FTX, but now he’s been dropped from the lineup. TSM FTX was out of luck for an entire year. They played so bad that they didn’t even compete in the big tournaments anymore.

Is benching drone the right move?

Now they were eliminated from the Challengers 1 – Open Qualifier in the lowest places, which led to even more demotivation within the team. TSM FTX has been trying a lot to get the team back to success. In the last few months the line-up has gone through several changes, so that it now looks completely different than it did half a year ago:

First Braxton “Brax” Pierce was brought into the team. Then coach Taylor “Tailored” Broomall was replaced by Chet “Chet” Singh, and most recently Sean “bang” Bezerra was signed.

TSM FTX enjoyed the most success last year, including wins at the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational, T1 x NSG Showdown and Knights Invitational Gauntlet Series, as well as a second-place finish at the First Strike North America Regional Final.

Drone had countless highlight plays at Phoenix and finished his time with the organization with a 1.16 rating and a 1.28 KD. Drone is sure to be in hot demand and it is questionable if it was a good idea to drop him from the lineup. Besides this change in the lineup, the organization has revealed that they will be testing several players to find a new man for the team to compete in the Challengers 2 – Open Qualifier.

TSM FTX are now:
James “hazed” Cobb
Matthew “WARDELL” Yu
Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
Sean “bang” Bezerra
Taylor “drone” Johnson (benched)
