fragster Farjana Jamal 16. September 2025

Riot Games is set to reintroduce one of Valorant’s iconic skin lines with the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle, giving players an upgraded version of the original set. Following the success of the first release, this 2.0 edition promises improved visuals, new animations, and new weapon variants, making it one of the most awaited bundles this year.

Valorant Prelude to Chaos 2.0 Bundle Release Date & Pricing

The Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle is expected to launch with Patch 11.06, with North America, LATAM, and Brazil getting it on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and Europe on Friday, September 19, 2025. Although Riot Games has not officially verified this, the proper investigation of datamined files and teaser assets suggested that the bundle should hit the Featured Store shortly after the patch.

As expected for Valorant bundles, the collection will only be available for a limited time, although individual skins may be featured again in daily offers or the Night Market.

Neither the individual nor final prices are announced yet, but estimates, based on the original monetized bundle and usual 2.0 updates, are below:

  • Full Bundle Price: Approximately 8,700 Valorant Points (VP)
  • Individual Weapon Skins: 2,000–2,500 Valorant Points (VP)
  • Melee Weapon (Blade of Chaos 2.0): Approximately 4,350 Valorant Points (VP)
  • Prices could vary slightly depending on Riot’s inclusion of visual and animation upgrades.

The original Prelude to Chaos bundle contained a Shorty, Stinger, Vandal, and Operator, with the blade of Chaos as the melee weapon. It is assumed that the 2.0 version will be the same bundle as last version with new weapons, more updated cosmetics, and new animation effects.

What’s New in 2.0

Similar to Prelude to Chaos, this new bundle will have upgraded versions of some of the visual effects and animations to make the weapons even more explosive for gameplay. “For instance, some weapons may have color variants like a color-shifting power core changing from blue to purple” (355). The new bundle has a more polished finisher, which will have upgraded finishing animations, which will include portals and chains. They will also keep some of the iconic electric guitar kill sounds from Prelude to Chaos.

Featuring new features, updated visuals, and new weapon skins, Prelude to Chaos 2.0 looks like it will add even more for background fans of Valorant. Players should mark this for the September release while ensuring they have enough Valorant Points set aside in order to buy, once it drops, this collection.
