Agent Updates

Ground Spreading Abilities

Abilities like Brimstone and Viper should be predictable now. In this update these abilities won’t spread out in weird ways or damage you through walls unexpectedly.

Map Targeted Abilities Improvements

In this update you can now see additional icons on maps for aiming abilities such as Brimstone Sky Smoke and Orbital Strike, Clove’ Ruse and Omen’s From the Shadows.

Sage’s Barrier Orb

You can now see where you’re planning to put Sage’s wall on the mini-map. This should help you coordinate with your team better.

Iso’s Kill Contract ability

It feels much smoother and more fluid now. The ultimate pacing has been adjusted for a more enjoyable and more intense one-on-one duel.

Bug Fixes

Valorant Patch 9.03 Fixes, Updates, and More (4)

There’s no more accidentally standing up or walking normally when you open menus because Riot Games already fixed that!

In the Gameplay System, a lot of changes happened, here’ the list that you need to know:

  • You can now see what gun you’re pinging on the ground.
  • The defuse timer won’t show weird numbers anymore.
  • You can see ability icons on the minimap when you’re watching a match.
  • Enemies should show up on the minimap when you can see them.
  • The damage numbers in the combat report won’t overlap anymore.
  • The combat report text is easier to read in different languages.
  • You won’t accidentally zoom in with your sniper while reloading.

The Abyss map has been tweaked a bit. You won’t be able to accidentally throw your abilities through the shelves in the middle library anymore.

Don’t even bother trying to construct a platform by tossing stuff off the edge, plus, Riot Games fixed some ambiguous messages and cleaned up the railings around the Defender Spawn area. They also made all the instructions in the Practice Range easy to understand in any language.

PC and Console

In the PC they just fixed a weird issue with the Combat Report. Before, you had to hold down the [Tab] button while clicking to use the cursor during the pre-round. But now, it’s already been fixed!

However, in Console, the Pearl, which is the underwater map, is now available for everyone to play in Unrated and Swiftplay! Get ready to explore its depths!

Known Issue
