The new update for Valorant, version 11.04, is out now, and it focuses on some balance changes, bug fixes, and quality updates. One of the main highlights is the gifting for the esports store, where players can now buy and send VCT team items to their friends directly through the shop. It makes it easier to support favorite teams while also sharing with others.
Valorant Patch 11.04 Brings Agent Tweaks, Map Changes, and New Manila Server
New Server: Manila
For players in Southeast Asia, Riot is opening a new Manila server, which is now the sixth server in the Asia Pacific shard. The idea is to provide a lower ping and smoother play experience for people in that region, especially in the Philippines, where the community is growing quickly.
Updates to Chamber and Sage Abilities
The patch also brings balance tweaks for a few agents. Chamber’s Trademark trap no longer has any range limit, meaning he gets more room to place his gadget strategically. Sage is shifted more into her Sentinel-Controller mix style, as both her Barrier Orb and Resurrection got longer range (10m → 15m and 6m → 12m).
Also, Phoenix now has fresh voicelines with Vyse for more interactions, and Sova’s Hunter’s Fury visuals are cleaned up, so fights look less messy.
Gameplay Systems Tweaked for Clarity
Riot also adjusts some game systems. The sound of pings on the minimap has been made less sharp. The AOE ultimate markers now use a better color code: ally zones show teal while enemy ones appear yellow. Only ultimates that can be destroyed will show the ability icon on the minimap zone. This should reduce confusion for players in heated moments.

New Map Rotation
In terms of maps, the pool is getting updated again. Abyss returns to both Competitive and Deathmatch, while Icebox is rotated out. There are also bug fixes for several maps, such as Split, where fire abilities didn’t spread properly up the stairs.
Fixes Across Agents and Maps
The patch resolved multiple small issues, too. Some examples are:
- Chamber: Trademark’s deactivation range now displays to the right.
- KAY/O: The Zero/Point bug that reveals enemy locations through audio is gone.
- Astra & Harbor: Bullet tracers will no longer pass through the Cosmic Divide or Cove.
- Phoenix & Tejo: Wrong voicelines at round start have been corrected.
- Neon: Could skip unequip delay by using multiple keybinds, now fixed.
Riot also mentions one known issue. After the update to Unreal Engine 5, many players see their resolution and display settings reset on first login. A permanent fix is not planned, so players should manually adjust their settings after the patch.
