The NA VALORANT Challengers Open Playoffs have revealed the four teams that will join the NA Challengers League. With 12 teams competing in the league, six organizations were invited ahead of schedule.

All four qualified through Open Qualifiers and fought in a battle in which 256 teams participated. With all this said, only the last two spots are left for the league.

Two places remain

These two spots will be contested in the Last Chance Qualifiers. The teams start today, January 17, to play the last chance they have to qualify for the NA Challengers League.

In case of a loss, the teams must wait until 2024 to have another chance to qualify.

List of teams

The top 16 teams from the Open Qualifier are expected to compete in the NA Last Chance Qualifiers.

Here is the complete list of the top 16 teams.

  • The Silk Road
  • The Nation
  • OREsports
  • Rat Attack
  • Happy2BHere
  • The Ganaccis
  • Nearest Airport
  • NSIC
  • Moon Raccoons
  • MCT Esports
  • jiliboo
  • 99 Strength
  • Mochi Fanclub
  • Soniqs
  • where is Fullerton
  • Team Reckaroo

Outstanding teams

Several of the 16 teams have either fallen short of qualification or have the makings of a great team and have failed to perform.

The first team we will talk about is The Nation, which has quickly become one of the favorite teams for many North Americans. Consisting mainly of Counter-Strike veterans such as

  • Jacky “Stewie2k” Yip
  • Matthew “Wardell” Yu
  • Braxton “brax” Pierce

Alongside them, the young talents

  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo
  • Tanner “TiGG” Spanu

Although the team came to the Open Qualifier without high expectations, they managed to qualify in the top six, missing out on the qualification by only one series.

On the other hand, we will talk about both The Silk Road and OREsports. Both had great performances, competing against some of the tournament’s best-known names.

The NSIC team, despite being one of the toughest teams in the tournament, narrowly missed out. However, with the likes of Shawn “Shawn” O’Riley and Chad “Oderus” Miller on their roster, they are a solid team to bet on in the tournament.

Several teams could be dark contenders. Soniqs is a name with a history in the tier 2 community and is unlikely to stand out from the others. However, this team has been surprised in the past, and their squad has time to compete together.

Where is Fullerton, it has fan-favorite streamers Peter “Governor” No and Mohammed “Harmful” Choudhary on their roster. This team has great potential for a surprise.

Finally, Rat Attack is the team that took down Version1, which gives some credibility to their status as catalysts of disruption.
