Valorant NEW Singularity 2.0 Skins: Price, Release Date, and More

fragster Stalingrad Dollosa 22. September 2024

Since its first release in the year 2020 with Patch 1.10, the original Singularity skin line has already managed to capture the interest of players through really captivating, futuristically designed pieces and vividly colored palettes. Now, Riot Games braces itself to fan the flames anew through yet a new collection that pays homage to the predecessor but with new features and enhancements that differentiate it from other existing skinlines: Singularity 2.0.

Skin Features

Each item in this collection will flaunt the iconic angular and polygonal feel to which fans have grown accustomed in the original Singularity series. Skins will feature a deep black base color with shining crystal accents in four vibrant colors: purple, red, blue, and yellow. Confirmed weapons for this collection include:

  • Melee – Butterfly Knife
  • Ghost
  • Vandal

The Singularity 2.0 set will launch with Patch 9.06, which drops on September 24, 2024. New skins typically come with the major patches from Riot Games, so new content comes along with gameplay updates and changes to balances.

There is still no exact date set for when Singularity 2.0 will drop, though it might make an appearance in the VALORANT shop on Thursday, September 26, 2024. This is because the current package is already on a countdown that says it will leave the shop on September 26 and, as usual with the shop, a new bundle rolls in on the same date.

Price

While Riot Games has not officially announced the pricing of Singularity 2.0, the bundle will likely be offered within the same price range as its original 2020 iteration:

  • The original bundle cost approximately 8,700 VP.
  • Individual weapon skins were usually around 2,175 VP, while melee skins like butterfly knife were around 4,350 VP.

With these figures in consideration, players could expect that the new bundle may have a similar pricing structure. The new Singularity 2.0 Vandal could be priced similarly to the Singularity Phantom, which had a price of 2,175 VP. But if its contents were considerably less than the original one, it could be slightly less pricey.

Note that prices for VALORANT Points are actually changed in some regions, so some bundles will cost more or less than is initially displayed. Players should have to consult the in-game store for the most current and accurate information.
