Guild Esports has announced the signing of an all-female Valorant roster, with the team set to compete in the VCT Game Changers EMEA, the first ever women’s Valorant tournament. In what is the latest major investment from Guild, the British organization announced the new female lineup, which will compete in the 5vc tactical shooter title from Riot Games.

Known as Guild X, the team is made up by Vivian Mae Schilling ‘Roxi’, Yağmur Gündüz ‘Smurfette’, Anastasiya Rival’evna ‘Glance’, Benfakir Sophia ‘Kim’ and captain Klaudia Beczkiewicz ‘Cinnamon’. The team formerly competed under the banner of Project X, however all five players have now signed 12-month contracts with Guild. Each will also have the option to extend their deal for another year. Based on information from Guild, players will receive an annual salary, as well as performance based bonuses.

When will we see Guild X in action?

Guild X becomes Guild’s fifth Esports roster, with the team having already won the Women in Games Community Cup. They will debut in Guild colors at the VCT Game Changers EMEA event, which gets underway next week. The tournament was created in order to raise awareness and offer more opportunities for women in Esports.

Two open qualifier tournaments will kick start the VCT Game Changers EMEA, which will see 64 teams battle it out for their share of the €20,000 prize pool. Meanwhile, the finals are to be played from November 15-21, featuring a total prize pool of €50,000. With Guild now having 18 active players across all Esports titles, they will be hoping for a return on their investment.
