Riot Games has revealed the key details for VALORANT Game Changers Pacific 2026, confirming the eight-team field, tournament format and qualification stakes for the regional event.
Game Changers Pacific will take place in Bali from September 14 to September 20, bringing together qualified teams from South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Oceania and South Asia. The tournament will determine the two Pacific representatives for the Game Changers Championship in São Paulo.
A $20,000 prize pool will also be distributed across the eight participating teams.
Eight teams qualify from across the Pacific
The Game Changers Pacific field combines representatives from five regional ecosystems.
South Korea will be represented by Gen.G GC, while Japan sends two teams in FENNEL HOTELAVA and Sasanqua. Southeast Asia has the largest representation with Team Falcons Vega, Full Sense Sisu and RGL wiwiwi.
Swaglord9000 qualified from Oceania, while Rising Esports GC secured the South Asian position.

Double-elimination format increases margin for error
Riot has confirmed that the competition will use a double-elimination bracket across seven days.
Teams will be seeded based on previous competitive performance, with the opening-round draw structured to prevent teams from the same region from facing each other immediately. A Southeast Asian team, for example, will not be paired against another Southeast Asian representative in its opening match.
Only the two teams that reach the end of the qualification race will secure Pacific’s places at the Game Changers Championship in São Paulo.
The double-elimination structure gives teams some protection against a single poor series. A defeat in the upper bracket does not immediately end a tournament run, but another loss in the lower bracket results in elimination.
