The VALORANT competitive scene in this 2023 season is in full swing in all the regions that make up the VCT, and every week, we can watch the 30 franchised teams give their all in every match. However, all these teams have one goal: to qualify for the VALORANT Champions 2023.
While the tournament is still a few months away, Riot Games has revealed how the slots will be distributed in each region for VALORANT Champions 2023.

In the announcement, Riot detailed the dates, locations, and the format or structure teams will follow to qualify for the end-of-season event. As we know, only the best teams of the season will be able to qualify for VCT Champions 2023, and in this era of franchises, everything is much longer and more complicated.
The first step for the teams is to qualify for the Masters Tokyo 2023. After that, the top three teams from each of the leagues (Americas, EMEA, and Pacific) and two from China will fight for the championship trophy, prize money, and a different place for their region for the next VALORANT Champions 2023.
Finally, it is worth remembering that in the Americas and Pacific, the top three teams will qualify directly for both the Champions and the Masters. However, it will be different in EMEA, as the team that qualifies in fourth position will also have its place for the Masters Tokyo 2023.
Challengers Ascension
After the Masters Tokyo concludes, the Challengers Ascension tournaments will start, where teams will fight for a place in the different leagues of the VCT 2023. These tournaments will take place from June 28 to July 16.
CN Champions Qualifiers
The 12 teams from the China region will compete in qualifiers from July 3-16. As a result, the top three teams from the qualifiers will be able to attend VALORANT Champions 2023.
Last Chance Qualifier
Finally, we have the LCQ, the last chance for all teams from the three VCT regions that failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2023. In addition, in this tournament, the regions will qualify the fourth participant, except the region that wins the VCT Masters Tokyo, which will have two slots available for the VALORANT Champions.
