Playoff Format and Schedule

A double-elimination bracket format will come through for the VALORANT Champions 2024 playoffs. 

The playoffs will begin on August 14, 2024, and conclude on August 25, 2024. The INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, South Korea, will host the final three days of the tournament, set for August 23–25, 2024. 

All matches are played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format for the playoffs. Meanwhile, they will use a best-of-five (Bo5) match for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final. 

Playoff Brackets Breakdown

Here are the teams that will face off in a showdown for the Upper Bracket Round 1:  

Match 1: DRX vs. Sentinels (August 14, 1 AM PST)

Match 2: Trace Esports vs. Edward Gaming (August 14, 4 AM PST)

Match 3: G2 Esports vs. Leviatan (August 15, 1 AM PST)

Match 4: Team Heretics vs. Fnatic (August 15, 4 AM PST)

Winners of these matches will move into the Upper Bracket Round 2, while defeated teams will take a longer route in the Lower Bracket Round 1. 

The Lower Bracket Round 1 matches are scheduled for August 16 (1 AM PST and 4 AM PST). On the other hand, matches for Upper Bracket Round 2 are on August 17 (1 AM PST and 4 AM PST). 

The winners of Lower Bracket Round 1 and losers of Upper Bracket Round 2 will face each other in Lower Bracket Round 2. It is scheduled for August 18 (1 AM PST and 4 AM PST)
