Top women’s CS:GO team loses after 38 undefeated games

The Swedish team broke this record in the group stage of ESL Impact.

In a close game that started on Mirage (14-16), went to overtime on Vertigo and ended with a victory for the ninjas (17-19). Although Nigma was not eliminated as a result of the defeat, one of the best streaks came to an end.

As mentioned above, with 38 games in this format, Nigma Galaxy has experienced defeat for the first time. In other words, the team did not know what it could lose after a whole year.

By winning both seasons of the ESL Impact against FURIA Esports in the two finals, Nigma became the undisputed leader of the women’s CS:GO scene throughout 2022. As a result, HLTV awarded it the World’s Best Team award and Best Female Player honors to AWPer Ana Dumbravă.

In addition, before suffering its first loss in a year, Nigma Galaxy came into ESL Impact as a heavy favorite after winning last year’s ESL Impact. Nigma has a record of one win and one loss, and their next duel is on March 22 against Team Aces.
