Mastercard and Riot Games extend global League of Legends partnership

Riot Games and Mastercard announced that they would continue to work together in the League of Legends competitive scene in the future.

Mastercard was the official sponsor of the World Championship, the Mid-Season Invitational, and the All-Star tournament. As part of the cooperation, the parties will continue to hold various joint events.

In addition to showcasing the brand at League of Legends esports tournaments, Mastercard will be featured in the game through promotions and logos, as well as on products produced in partnership with publisher Riot Games.

TSM suspends major $210m naming rights deal with FTX

Professional eSports organization Team SoloMid (TSM), formerly TSM FTX, has broken its $210 million sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

The U.S.-based esports organization announced in a November 16 Tweet to its 2.2 million followers that the decision was made after “monitoring the evolving situation and discussing internally.”

FaZe Clan and Disney announce year-long apparel collaboration

North American gaming and lifestyle organization FaZe Clan announced a year-long partnership with entertainment company Disney.

As a result of the collaboration, FaZe and Disney will introduce a version of the iconic Disney character, Mickey Mouse, called “Mickey On The Grid.”

FaZe and Disney’s first “capsule” collection launched on May 28 at the pop-up store and on May 30 at its online store. This collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, and caps.
