The competition toughens as transfers happen over the weekend. OG parted ways with one of its significant players, Timado. This departure caught the Dota 2 community off-guard with the sudden roster shake-up. This placed Enzo “Timado” Gianoli in the spotlight with his transfer to the Shopify Rebellion. He will now play under the said team for the upcoming competitive season.

This move marks a new chapter for the young carry, Timado, in his Shopify Rebellion career. Many are anticipating changes in the synergy between teams as the tournament begins.

Timado’s Departure from OG

OG has cemented its status in the Dota 2 competitive scene a long time ago. Under their belt is a two-time The International (TI) champion to be one of the most intimidating teams in the league. Throughout Timodo’s stint with the team, although brief, he has shown impeccable contributions in their achievements.

On his stay, the team earned a respectable 4th place finish at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 and a 2nd place run at Fissure Universe Ep. 2. Despite these, the team fell short to reach the biggest objectives out of all. Unfortunately, OG failed to qualify for The International 2024, which may have been a trigger point for the decision to make roster changes.

On September 21, 2024, OG posted in their official X (formerly Twitter) account their gratitude for Timado. They stated,

“The season was intense, but we couldn’t have done it without you. GL next, and thank you 🫶”
