fragster Eduardo 10. January 2023

All VALORANT fans are excited as the offseason is finally over.

YouTube Gaming star “Ludwig” Ahgren has announced via his official Twitter account an official VALORANT tournament called The Ludwig x Tarik Valorant Invitational. According to the announcement, the tournament is expected to feature the top four VALORANT teams.

The streamer announced this by sharing a video on Twitter.

In addition, Ludwig mentioned:

“This Weekend. The First Official Valorant Event of the Year. The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational.”

The tournament will last only two days, January 14 and 15, 2023, i.e., next weekend.

As we observed in the video, the tournament will feature Sentinels, The Guard, and TSM, while the South Korean team T1 is close to completing its lineup.

The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational will be streamed live on both Ludwig’s YouTube channel and Tarik’s Twitch channel.

Another interesting detail is that the tournament will be played on LAN in Los Angeles, USA, where most organizations that will play the upcoming VCT Americas 2023 are based.

This will be the first time fans will see the new VALORANT lineups formed during the offseason.

We can say this is a tournament primarily for teams to show their new lineups and for the enjoyment of the fans. But, like Sentinels, they will have a lot to prove.

Let’s remember that Sentinels signed pANcada and Sacy from LOUD, the team that won the VALORANT Champions 2022.

On the other hand, Sentinels will face TSM and The Guard, two teams that did not manage to secure their partnership for the VCT 2023 but have a lot to prove if they want to qualify through the Ascension League.

On the other hand, T1 will arrive to represent the Asia-Pacific region as the fourth guest team of the tournament. Some T1 players previously competed in NA, so it is not a strange scene for them.

The highlights of T1 are undoubted xeta, Sayaplayer, and Ban, who competed at the highest level in the region.
