Embark Studios has launched The Finals Midseason Update 7.6.0, headlined by Super Cashball, a brand-new 5v5 mode that brings role-based gameplay, a specialized arena, and a seasonal reward system. Designed for speed and team coordination, this update gives players a new way to experience the game competitively.

Super Cashball: a 5v5 High-Speed Mode
Super Cashball is the latest mode added with Update 7.6.0. In this 5v5 format, teams pass and charge the Cashball to score in the opponent’s goal. Passing between teammates powers up the ball if fully charged; one goal can net 3 points. Matches are split into two 5-minute halves, with halftime in the middle.
If the Cashball is still airborne when time runs out, a goal can still count. Scoring in the final 30 seconds triggers a bonus 30 seconds, opening up comeback potential. In the event of a tie, the team that reaches the tied score first wins the match.
Locked Loadouts
To create balance and team synergy, loadouts in Super Cashball are locked to three preset roles:
- Striker (Light Build): Fast and aggressive. Uses Dagger, Evasive Dash, Glitch Grenade, and Thermal Bore Nullifier to disrupt opponents and cover ground quickly.
- Playmaker (Medium Build): Primary ball handler. Equipped with Winch Claw, Riot Shield, Zipline, Goo Grenade, and Jump Pad to support and move the ball across the field.
- Enforcer (Heavy Build): Defensive powerhouse. Carries Sledgehammer, Charge n’ Slam, Dome Shield, Lockbolt, and Barricade to protect the goal and repel attackers.
Goal Zone Glitch Mechanic
Each goal area has a “Penalty Zone.” Opponents entering this zone become Glitched, disabling their ability to carry the ball or use Gadgets and Specializations. This change forces players to think twice before blindly rushing the goal, encouraging smarter positioning and coordination.
CA$HBALL STADIUM: A Mode-Specific Arena
All Super Cashball matches take place in the new CA$HBALL STADIUM, a custom-built arena designed for high-tempo gameplay. With clear goal zones, vertical layouts, and flashy lighting, the stadium emphasizes movement and fast decision-making. It’s tailored to support the mode’s unique rules and style.
Super Cashball Wheel
With sponsorship from in-game brand VAIIYA, players can now access the Super Cashball Wheel to earn cosmetic rewards. Players complete Daily Contracts to earn tickets, with everyone receiving one free spin. Duplicate rewards yield ticket parts, three of which combine into an extra spin.
There are 20 themed prizes, and collecting them all unlocks the exclusive Zone Enforcer Set. This system encourages daily play while rewarding long-term engagement.
Private Match Support Expands Flexibility
Super Cashball is fully playable in Private Matches, letting players practice, run scrims, or casually explore team roles. This addition makes it easier to experiment with team composition and strategies outside of public matchmaking.
