There’s a lot of action right now in French CS:GO. Top competitors like G2 Esports and Team Vitality are selling important players, while newcomers are eager to sign them.

The Rio Major and ESL Pro League Season 16 are getting closer and everyone is trying to build a roster that has the highest chances of winning or at least getting a top four result.

Nathan “NBK-“ Schmitt leaves MOUZ

NBK- joined MOUZ back in January but after just 10 weeks, the team benched him. He spent five months being inactive and now he left the team completely. At just 28, NBK- still has at least a few more years left to compete. Esports careers tend to end around the age of 30. But some decide to stop playing much earlier.

MOUZ has a full roster at this point, so NBK-‘s departure will not cause any problems. It’s interesting to see who will sign him. The most likely destination at this point is Team Falcons.

Richard “shox” Papillon joins Apeks

Shox is another French team whose previous adventure was short-lived. Shox joined Team Liquid at the end of December but six months later, he got benched. He spent almost two months searching for a new team and he ended up signing with Apeks.

Right now, the IGL of Apeks is Martin “STYKO” Styk, a former mousesports and GODSENT player.

Audric “JACKZ” Jug joins HEET

This was a very interesting decision on the part of JACKZ, but it was probably caused in part by the fact that he’s 30 and just wants to play a bit more CS:GO before he retires. This team is arguably a huge downgrade for him and will not provide the opportunities that were provided by G2 Esports.

Still, even A-tier and B-tier tournaments would be good. And if Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro does a good job as IGL, HEET might just qualify for a few S-tier events as well. It all depends on how motivated the players are and how well they managed to compete as a group.

Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier Leaves Team Vitality

Misutaaa is only 19 and he recently left Team Vitality. He stayed there for nearly two and a half years and the results he got during this time were very good. However, it’s hard to credit him with those results when he has players like Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut playing alongside him. It will be interesting to see what he does next.
