The organizers of The Esports Awards have revealed Las Vegas as the location for this year’s edition of the prestigious ceremony. The event is set to take place on Tuesday, December 13 in the Las Vegas’ Resorts World Theatre.
Following three years at Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas, United States, The Esports Awards show is now moving to the centre of entertainment, Las Vegas.
The tickets for the show are now for sale starting at $50, with the event capacity being around 5,000 visitors. This marks the seventh annual show of The Esports Awards, which will be sponsored by gaming chair maker Secretlab and telecommunications firm Verizon.
Michael Ashford, CEO of Esports Awards, spoke on the announcement:
“We could not be more excited to start building a legacy with Resorts World Las Vegas. We recognize the awards are a deserved end of year celebration and want to build something that caters to delivering a best-in-class experience. Resorts World Las Vegas as a venue has been very forward-thinking in attracting top-tier events and to see the support for esports is hugely encouraging. A huge shout out to Destination Esports, Resorts World Las Vegas and Hilton Hotels for making it happen.”
