The VALORANT community reacts to the official DSG logo and roster banner.

Disguised Toast’s DSG team makes their way into the VALORANT competitive scene with an incredible victory over Oxygen Esports. With this achievement, they secured a spot in the NA Challengers scene, it was enough to get the streamer excited, but fans are excited about the team’s logo.

About the logo

The DSG logo looks like it was created in Paint in just five minutes, but it has been a hit on the internet. Although many fans want it to stay, others claim that they will only buy esports products if they look like they were made of Paint.

DSG’s logo stands out from the crowd in a world of ultra-serious and structured designs.

Success among fans

After it was announced that Team DSG had secured a spot in NA Challengers for VCT, Disguised Toast stated that they assumed the team needed a new logo.

This statement prompted hundreds of comments, suggestions, and prototypes. Everyone from regular Twitter users to OfflineTV itself showed their ideas.

Ideas from the hilarious to the serious. However, not everyone agrees with Disguised Toast changing its logo; quite a few people love it the way it is.

Some fans thought it was something very Disguised Toast-esque that made them unique. This even extended to the Valorant Competitive subReddit.

“I just wanna say this is the greatest logo in the history of esports, and it should never be changed.”

Comments about the logo

The simplicity of the DSG logo and banner has been a runaway hit on the internet. Fans have commented on every detail of this banner.

Some note that they love that Steel is the only one not smiling. Others comment on the reason why he doesn’t. They explain that the scowl results from asking the team what he’s aiming for or simply channeling his anger into destroying other teams.

Other users comment that they love the “T” in Toast that was cleverly hidden inside the G. All the little details make people love the logo and support the Disguised Toast initiative.

Some fans hope the logo will be kept and wish they could buy their merchandise. But on the other hand, they expect it retains the current design with a more modern logo.

One Reddit user points out that if Disguised Toast wants to grow as a brand, it will have to implement a more mature logo. The current logo could be kept for memes, but to become a marketable esports organization, it would have to have more.

We all have to wait to see the team’s decision regarding the logo, but it’s clear that most want it to stay the same.
