The Apex Legends Valentine’s Day Event is here!

Love is in the air with the fast-approaching Valentine’s Day, which means that it’s time to celebrate the day of love in Apex Legends as well. Grab your loved ones and battle your way through the Apex Legends Valentine’s Day Event to claim the title of Apex Games’ Cutest Couple.

Apex Legends just unveiled Season 16 which will bring a lot of new content, including a new weapon and even a new Control limited-time mode (LTM), Team Deathmatch, and the mixtape playlist. But that’s not all, because Apex developers have decided to release another LTM before the new season. Here’s everything you need to know about it!

Apex Legends Date Night LTM

The new LTM themed around Valentine’s Day has been introduced to the game yesterday as a replacement for the standard duo mode. Date Night lets you go head-to-head in battle royale pairs, with love mechanics and some distinctly pink and purple cosmetics adding a bit of variety.

This is also the end of the Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection event. The Apex Legends Date Night LTM is the perfect mode for players who want to enjoy the battle royale around Valentine’s Day.

Date Night is a special twist on Duos where the goal is to become Apex Games’ cutest couple. In Date Night, using an item that replenishes health or shields, such as med kits and shield cells, will also benefit your teammate when they are nearby.

The limited-time mode “Date Night” is playable now, but will likely be over soon after Valentine’s Day is over. 

New Weapon & Cosmetics

But that is not all. The Date Night mode also features a special limited-time weapon that is a variant of the Bocek Compound Bow. The “Heart Seeker” is a special Bocek that has a lifesteal mechanic, meaning if you hit an enemy, you heal yourself and your nearby teammate.

So far, it looks like the Apex Legends Valentine’s Day event will include skins for Bangalore, Loba, and Valkyrie. While that’s all we know, there could be more skins or other cosmetic items like badges and banners. As part of the event, there’s a nearly $40 bundle that includes 50 Apex Packs and a candy heart weapon charm. Are you the cutest couple of the Apex Valentine’s Day event?
