Anyone who regularly plays shooter games knows how good it feels to take out opponents with a clean flick shot. Flicks require excellent hand-eye coordination and lightning-fast reaction time. That’s why they are among the most beautiful highlight plays ever.

Whether it’s in Valorant or Counter-Strike, flicks in pro-play are a treat to watch. That’s why we’ve put together the top 10 best flicks for you.

10. TenZ

Our list starts with a double vandal flick from Canadian Valorant pro TenZ who blasts the remaining two opponents with two loose one-tap flicks. It’s the way TenZ plays that makes this double kill so special. Very casually he hops around the corner between the kills and finishes the round with a 360 one tap. The Sentinels professional is not one of the best Valorant players in the world for nothing, which you can see here in an impressive manner.

9. Olofmeister

Even though it was never his main weapon, the AWP was always a dangerous weapon in hands of ex-CS pro Olofmeister. His opponent Dosia had a chance to experience that at the E-League Major Atlanta 2017. After taking out his first opponent at close range, Olofmeister succeeds in this cabaret piece. Even the observers didn’t expect the kill anymore, which is why the camera switches to the fallen opponent shortly before the shot is fired. Olofmeister’s flicks are just too fast for the camera.

8. Shazam

It is well known that Valorant pro Shazam can snipe. The way he holds the A-Bombspot on Icebox in this clip really shows his class. The special thing about it is that the American manages both a vertical and a horizontal flick. He shows why he rightly belongs to the best in the world. With incredible precision and calm, he manages to patch up the oncoming opponents.

7. Nifty

The American AWPer Nifty is one of the best CS:GO snipers of recent years. Although he was never very successful with his Australian team Renegades, his performance on the server was still more than worth seeing, just like at IEM Sydney 2018 against Mousesports. On their home soil, the Aussie team made it to the quarterfinals, where Nifty managed a 4k with the AWP in overtime. With pixel-perfect precision, he takes out any enemies that push towards the bomb spot. And without any backup from his team. All the pressure in this situation was on the young sniper, who delivered and made the hall tremble. The clip is memorable in many ways, including the perfect flicks that Nifty used to win the round for himself and his team.

6. GeT_RiGhT

Sixth place goes to none other than the Counter-Strike legend GeT_RiGhT. He was in an exciting exchange with the Ninjas in Pajamas in the 2016 ESL Pro League semifinals against the then Brazilian super team SK Gaming when he managed this flick. As if it was nothing, GeT_RiGht pulls his AK up where he just spotted the top of his opponent’s head. A single shot is enough for the Swede to shorten fer’s head with incredible precision. GeT_RiGhT’s flick certainly helped win the map, but SK won the best-of-three.

5. Wardell

With Wardell, another former Counter-Strike professional joins our list. The Canadian AWPer, who worked for Ghost Gaming between 2017 and 2019, has definitely not forgotten his sniper skills. He swapped the AWP for the Operators and has been one of the best snipers in Valorant ever since. You can see how good he is in this clip from one of his streams. Despite the incredible amount of crowd control thrown at him, he keeps his nerve and patches his opponent into the afterlife. Neither a stun nor a blind can stop Wardell. This gorgeous vertical flick is a result to be proud of.

4. iitzTimmy

Streamer iiTzTimmy is known for his sniping skills in Valorant. His incredible precision, understanding of the game and reaction time are almost unbeatable. You can see what it looks like when he combines all these skills in this clip. In a 1 on 1 situation, he spots the silhouette of the opposing Jett, who is catapulted into the air the next moment. Cold as ice, he flicks his Operator to a height that is formidable and takes out the last remaining enemy. With kills like that, it’s almost a shame we haven’t seen iiTzTimmy in competitive Valorant yet.

3. tiziaN

At the Faceit Major in London, the German CS pro tiziaN his organization BIG made it onto the podium, where they ycompeted against Renegades from Australia. After a first frag from tiziaN, he hides behind a couple of barrels and decides on an interesting peak variant. This ultimately leads to success as he takes out an opponent with an incredible Flick Shot of his USP. TiziaN had no information about the opponent’s position and fired a shot at random before ducking back into cover. Even the casters had no idea what happened. What we are left with is a memorable flick that heralded victory in the pistol round as well as on the map for BIG.

2. s1mple

As in almost every list, a clip from the Ukrainian star player s1mple should not be missing from this one. With this incredible flick against his former team Liquid at the BlastPremier Global Finals, the man proves he can do anything in Counter-Strike. Even at half speed, this flick is too fast for the human eye, and shows once again why s1mple is considered the greatest Counter-Strike player of all time. After eliminating his first opponent, the second player tries to save himself from s1mple. With an inhuman reflex, s1mple sees this and, at random, fires through the wall. The result is a wallbang flick shot headshot that we will probably never see again.

1. HiKo

With this legendary clip from the ESL Cologne 2014, the American Counter-Strike player HiKo takes first place in our list of the best flicks. In an exciting quarterfinal against NiP, HiKo found himself in a 1 vs. 5 situation in which the opposing team had already started the hunt for him as the last remaining player. Suddenly being shot from behind, HiKo fires while spinning, landing his opponent GeT_RiGhT a perfect flick shot in the head. He himself was probably most taken aback by the shot. With seemingly more luck than brains, but an outstanding ability to react, HiKo gets the kill. However, the round and the map went to the Swedes, who were able to assert themselves in the best-of-three series and ultimately won the title of ESL Cologne, in what is probably the most legendary CS final. Just as legendary remains this superhuman kill.
