Team Vitality is the next organization to enter the competitive scene with a female League of Legends team. The French org aims to take the team to the very top of the country’s women’s league.

It is also the organization’s first all-women team since its inception in 2013. The Academy’s French Bees project is being guided into a professional environment, joining all six teams that make Vitality’s roster across League (LEC and LFL), CS:GO, VALORANT, Rocket League, and Call of Duty: Mobile.

After G2 was the first organization to found the women’s team “G2 Hel” in League of Legends, Vitality is now following. In collaboration with ALDI, its sponsor and one of the major players in the European retail market, Vitality unveiled a French team for the League of Legends women’s league. 

The French Bees will compete in several French tournaments in 2023, starting with the MasterCard Nexus Tour, formerly known as the Open Tour France. They will also play in the women’s league and take part in French LAN tournaments when they have the opportunity. The team consists of the following players, all playing in Master or Diamond league:

  • Velouria “Viki” Bati: 25 years old, AD carry and in-game leader 
  • Emeline “Kasane” Baudouin: 24 years old, Support 
  • Alyssa “saï” Lenoir: 18 years old, Mid Lane 
  • Lexa “Lexa” Grellier: 21 years old, Jungle 
  • Coline “Chubby Daddy” Rider: 24 years old, Top Lane 

Doing more for women in esports

According to Vitality’s President and Co-Founder Fabien “Neo ” Devide, the organization’s noble goal is to take its players as far as possible by giving them the opportunity to compete in the French Women’s League. Furthermore, this shows their commitment to supporting women’s esports in France.

We hope that this team will go as far as possible in the competition and help pave the way for the further development of women’s esports in France.”
