Team Liquid emerged victorious against the Peruvian team and secured their spot in the final. The championship title comes with a prize of $240,000 for the first place and $120,000 for the second place.

Meanwhile, the team led by ‘Matthew’ secured the third position in the tournament, earning $72,000.

The Path of BOOM Esports During the Tournament

The Peruvian team began the tournament in sixth place during the Swiss round, allowing them to advance to the group stage, where they finished fifth and secured a spot in the first round of the lower bracket.

In the elimination bracket, they advanced by defeating beastcoast 2-0. They then achieved a 2-1 victory over nouns and ultimately a 2-0 triumph over Execration, a team from Southeast Asia. Only one final challenge remained before reaching the grand final: facing Team Liquid.

Although they did not secure a spot in the grand final, the Peruvian team delivered a remarkable performance, finishing among the top three. They shared the podium with Team Liquid and 1win in a tournament that featured 16 teams.
