On the second map Vertigo picked by Eternal Fire, Finest recovered from the previous loss and got quickly in the 9:6 lead on the T-side, before winning another seven consecutive rounds to even the score and push the series to the third map.

Finest journey in Pinnacle Cup IV

Team Finest is an international CS:GO team consisting of Swedes Rasmus “kreaz” Johansson, Simon “twist” Eliasson and Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen, Guy “anarkez” Trachtman from Israel and Kristjan “shokz” Jakobson from Estonia.

The squad started their journey on The Pinnacle Cup IV in its earliest, Play-In stage, where they rolled over 777 Esports and Tricked Esport to advance to the following Swiss Stage. In the Swiss Stage, Finest started with two wins against ECSTATIC and Isurus, however, the team lost to Team Spirit and Apeks in the next two rounds. Being just one step from the elimination, they managed to defeat Wisła Kraków and secure their spot in the playoffs.

The team then swept through the playoffs, taking their revenge in the first match against Team Spirit and following with wins against TYLOO and Movistar Riders before landing the spot in the Grand Final.

This marks the squad’s first notable achievement since 2021, when anarkez, kreaz and shokz joined the team. PlesseN and twist joined in March 2022, with their first appearance with the team at the Pinnacle Cup III, where they finished in 13th-15th place.
