Team Falcons Sweep Spacestation to Win Rocket League EWC 2026

Team Falcons have won the Rocket League Esports World Cup 2026 after completing a dominant 4-0 sweep over Spacestation Gaming in the Grand Final in Paris.

The MENA powerhouse never allowed the North American roster to establish control of the series. Falcons won all four games, scored 13 goals and conceded only four to complete one of the cleanest championship performances of the tournament.

The victory earns Falcons $400,000 in prize money and 1,000 Esports World Cup Club Championship points. Spacestation finishes second with $180,000 and 750 points.

Falcons survive early pressure before taking control

The Grand Final opened with the closest game of the series.

Spacestation scored quickly on Beckwith Park and briefly looked capable of disrupting Falcons’ momentum. The MENA roster responded before regulation ended, forcing overtime.

Only 35 seconds of additional time were needed.

Falcons scored the decisive goal to take Game 1 by a 3-2 score and immediately put Spacestation under pressure in the best-of-seven.

The four Grand Final results were:

The opening game ultimately proved to be SSG’s best opportunity to change the direction of the final.

From Game 2 onward, Falcons increasingly controlled possession, shooting opportunities and defensive rotations.

Kiileerrz and dralii overwhelm Spacestation

Falcons’ offensive output was distributed across the roster rather than depending entirely on one player.

Samy “dralii” Hajji produced seven goals across the series and recorded the highest statistical rating in the Grand Final. Yazeed “Kiileerrz” Bakhashwin added five goals while also contributing heavily through assists and saves.

Saleh “Rw9” Bakhashwin played a less goal-focused role but remained crucial to Falcons’ defensive stability and team structure.

Falcons finished the series with 13 goals from 36 shots.

Spacestation managed only four goals from 32 shots, with diaz accounting for three of them.

Falcons combined overwhelming finishing efficiency with enough defensive control to prevent Spacestation from turning pressure into sustained momentum.

Spacestation run ends one series short

Spacestation still leaves Paris after an impressive tournament.

The North American roster reached Championship Sunday after surviving several demanding series, including a seven-game quarterfinal against Shopify Rebellion.

SSG then faced Ninjas in Pyjamas eStar in the semifinal.

That series also went the full seven games. Spacestation eventually won 4-3, closing the deciding game 4-0 to earn a place in the Grand Final.

Their path included:

• A 3-0 group-stage sweep against defending champion Karmine Corp
• A 4-3 comeback victory over Shopify Rebellion
• A 4-3 semifinal win against NiP eStar

The final proved to be a different challenge.

Falcons consistently denied the space Spacestation had found in earlier matches, while SSG struggled to convert its own shooting volume into goals.

The Grand Final sweep was not Falcons’ only dominant performance on Championship Sunday.

Earlier in the day, they faced defending EWC champion Karmine Corp in the semifinals.

Falcons won that series 4-0 as well.

KC had reached the final day after eliminating Vitality in a dramatic seven-game quarterfinal, but Falcons gave the French roster almost no opportunity to continue its title defense.

That meant Falcons entered the Grand Final having already won four consecutive playoff games against one of Europe’s strongest teams.

They then added another four against Spacestation.

Across the semifinal and Grand Final combined, Falcons won eight games without dropping one.

Rw9 named tournament MVP

While dralii recorded the strongest statistical rating in the Grand Final itself, Rw9 received the tournament MVP award from the Esports World Cup.

The recognition reflects his contribution across the full event rather than only the final series.

Falcons began the tournament with victories over R8 Esports and Gentle Mates during the group stage before defeating Twisted Minds in the quarterfinal.

Their playoff run then accelerated dramatically against Karmine Corp and Spacestation.

The title also delivers maximum Club Championship points, an important result for an organization competing across several games at the Esports World Cup.

Assessment

Team Falcons did not simply win the Rocket League Esports World Cup 2026. They dominated the most important part of it.

Spacestation had already shown that it could defeat elite opposition and survive long series under pressure. None of that translated into a competitive Grand Final once Falcons established control.

The 4-0 score completes a Championship Sunday in which Falcons did not lose a single game across eight played.

That level of dominance makes the result especially significant heading toward the next major Rocket League competitions. Falcons already entered Paris as one of the strongest teams in the world. They now leave with an international trophy, $400,000 and another major argument for being considered the current benchmark in elite Rocket League.

Spacestation can still view second place as a strong international result. But on the final stage in Paris, there was only one team in control.
