Team Falcons is without a doubt the strongest Dota 2 organization in the MENA region. Their roster is composed of world-class players who are among the best at their respective roles. Combined with the fact that this region only has several strong teams, this makes it easy for them to qualify for international tournaments.
In the current MENA Qualifier for BetBoom Dacha Dubai, Team Falcons had to deal with competitors like Nigma Galaxy, who are pretty strong, and PSG Quest. Apart from them, there was nobody who stood a chance. It’s hard to even regard the remaining participants as serious teams because they’re not even tier 2 competitors.

Team Falcons’ road to the Grand Final
Falcons started the MENA Qualifier for BetBoom Dacha Dubai with a victory against PSG Quest. The match was harder than expected and despite the 2-0 score, the games lasted for 48 and 38 minutes respectively.
In game 1, Falcons picked a hero that’s not exactly popular or successful at the community level. Ursa has a 48.3% win rate and a 7.3% pick rate. Nevertheless, he proved to be an excellent choice against Timber and allowed the team led by Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf to win the laning phase and then gain a 5200 gold lead until the 15-minute mark.
The game lasted a long time because after that point, PSG Quest’s heroes started to become extremely powerful when played as a compact group. By the 30-minute mark, the networth of the two teams was even.
The only reason why Falcons won was that PSG Quest bought a lot of fancy items and had too little damage to deal with the cores of their opponents. Just compare Ursa’s build, which consisted of items like Battle Fury, Nullifier, and Abyssal Blade, to Abaddon’s build, which consisted of items like Manta Style, Eye of Skadi, and Harpoon.
In game 2, Hoodwink plus Lifestealer, aided a little bit by Doom, Crystal Maiden, and Tiny proved to be a deadly combination against Sven and Pangolier. Despite Quest’s good start, the game was practically over very quickly.
In the upper bracket Final, Falcons encountered Winter Bear, who somehow defeated Kuro „KuroKy” Takasomi’s Nigma Galaxy. The match was not very challenging and the score was 2-0. Falcons picked one of ATF’s favorite heroes, Razor, and he completely destroyed his opponents in game 1.
In game 2, Ursa was picked again but he was coupled with picks that can hold the enemy in place with ease, such as Puck. Winter Bear had no chance of winning, mainly because of the huge skill difference.
