Tournament Format and Basic Rules

Fortnite’s Symbiote Cup follows a Battle Royale Duos format for a pair of thrills and excitement. In this, teams will compete across multiple matches where they’ll be able to accumulate points. Within the three-hour window, there will be a maximum of 10 matches that teams can join in. The starting time of the matches will depend on your region’s timezone. Also, it has a special competitive loot pool to fire up the players.  

However, there will be restricted items as you join the competition. This is to maintain the competitive integrity of the tournament so you won’t be able to use the following: Pumpkin Launchers, Boom Billys, and Billy and Ultima Carver.  

Participation Requirements

1. Make sure your account is level 50 or higher by checking in the Career tab.
2. Check whether Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled and verified on your Epic Games account.
3. Cabined accounts are not eligible to join.
