At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Supercell revealed a little nugget that has the Brawl Stars community abuzz. During a Q&A session, Brawl Stars Community Manager Drew Hancock shared that the team is currently pursuing some potential partnerships to create a big project, like a feature-length movie based on the mobile game.
During the Q&A, Drew was asked if there is any chance for the Brawlverse to expand through things like a book of art, comic, or show, Drew said they were thinking bigger. “We want to make something as big as that,” he said . This lead to a lot of fan speculation online. There’s nothing finalized, and Supercell didn’t provide any detail, but it seems apparent that Supercell is trying to do something related to Brawl Stars in theatres.
Riding the Game-to-Film Trend

The timing looks kind of perfect. Game-based movies like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the upcoming Minecraft film have all shown there’s big interest in gaming IPs. Supercell seems ready to jump in too they’ve even been hiring people for film and TV stuff. So yeah, this doesn’t just look like a random idea.
What Might a Brawl Stars Movie Be Like?
There’s no official studio or release window yet, but fans and a few insiders are already imagining what this movie could look like:
| Feature | Possible Direction |
| Format | Probably fully animated to match the game’s art style |
| Studio | Might work with animation studios like Pixar, DreamWorks, maybe Illumination |
| Story | Could take place in Starr Park maybe look at backstories, team-ups, or some darker secrets |
| Tone | Could go action-comedy like The LEGO Movie, or maybe something more serious with lore, like Arcane |

There’s no production confirmed yet. But with Drew’s comments, those media job listings from Supercell, and fans already hyped, the idea of a Brawl Stars movie feels closer than before. We’ll have to wait and see but the Brawlverse might not stay on mobile screens for long.
