SVL 2025 opens with two groups of four teams, the groups being double-elimination brackets. This set-up allows the teams to come back from a defeat suffered in their first game and at the same time, consistency and adjustment are rewarded through this format. The leading two teams from each group will proceed to the playoffs, the playoffs being followed by the single-elimination bracket final showdown which will decide the finalists. The grand final best-of-five series will be played as part of the event, ensuring a fitting finale.
Tickets for the event will be available from 5 PM KST (7 AM UTC) on November 20, whereas broadcasts will be offered in English, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.
