Suning has announced that popular Vietnamese jungler Lê “SofM” Quang Duy will remain with the team for the 2021 LPL Season. The 22-year-old has become one of the leading names in League of Legends, with the latest news meaning that expectations are likely to be higher than ever for the Chinese organization.

SofM’s previous contract expired at the end of November, with rumours having been rife surrounding his immediate future. Such speculation was only enhanced when the jungler announced that he had contacted TSM in a bid to secure a move to the LCS, however the former Full Louis and Snake man has ultimately decided to stay put in the LPL.

How SofM Helped Suning in Starring at the Worlds

SofM played a key role in Suning’s success in 2020, with many having stood up and taken notice of the jungler, especially for his unique playing style. SofM, who started his professional career at GameTV, has developed a reputation as being aggressive, as well as being highly skilled when it come to original builds and ability to snowball.

While Suning ultimately missed out on the World Championship title following a defeat to winners DAMWON Gaming, SofM helped the team in putting in some standout performances during the season. What the Suning Roster Looks Like for 2021

Meanwhile, Suning has already announced the signing of bot laner Xie “Jinjiao” Jin-Shan, who had previously spent some three years with Bilibili Gaming. 19-year-old bot laner Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng remains an active part of the Suning roster, however his future reportedly remains up in the air.

Despite their success last season, Suning has also made significant changes to its coaching lineup, having released coach Kwon “Helper” Yeong-jae, analyst ZYB and Head Coach Shih “Chashao” Yi-Hao, with the latter having already joined JD Gaming.
