How Do Teams Qualify?
There are two main ways for teams to make it to VALORANT Champions Paris:
- Stage 2 Placement – If a team finishes in the top two of their league at the end of Stage 2, they automatically qualify.
- Championship Points – Teams collect points all season from Kickoff, Stage 1, Stage 2, and Masters. The two highest-ranked team in each region that didn’t already qualify by placement still earns a ticket to Paris.
This system makes sure that both steady teams across the season and clutch teams in the big moments get rewarded.

Spotlight on Qualified Teams
VCT Americas
- G2 Esports
G2 was the very first team to qualify after Masters Toronto, building a huge lead in the points race. With “leaf” leading the squad, they go into Paris as one of the top favorites to win it all. - Sentinels
Sentinels joined them soon after, officially locking their spot in early August. Even though they lost TenZ, the team has stayed strong at home and now looks scary on the international stage too.
VCT EMEA
- Fnatic
Fnatic were the first European team to secure their ticket. Their year has been both impressive and frustrating—just missing out at Masters Toronto and again at the Esports World Cup. Paris is their shot at redemption.
VCT Pacific
- Paper Rex
Paper Rex finally lifted their first international trophy at Masters Toronto, ending a long curse of close calls. Now they are seen as one of the biggest threats for the world title. - T1
T1 had a rollercoaster season. Stage 1 was disappointing, but they bounced back with a huge Masters Bangkok win and a strong Stage 2 run that carried them into Paris. - RRQ
RRQ are the surprise story of the Pacific. Once just a middle-of-the-pack team, they shocked everyone by winning Pacific Stage 1. Now they head into Paris as true dark horses.
Conclusion
With Sentinels, G2 Esports, Fnatic, Paper Rex, T1, and RRQ already qualified, there are still 10 spots left across all the regions. Every single map, every round, and every playoff game in Stage 2 will matter for who gets the last tickets to Paris.
VALORANT Champions 2025 is already looking like it could be the most competitive and unpredictable world championship the game has ever had. Fans definitely won’t want to miss it.
