CS2 is full of great coaches and analysts. But you rarely get the opportunity to learn from someone as successful and as knowledgeable as s1mple. On the surface, this looks like a great opportunity. But can he really transfer his in-depth knowledge of the game to aspiring players?
Several days ago, s1mple finally made his official announcement about his coaching program, which is available on the website playlikes1mple.com. The whole project seems to be dedicated to him and his coaching classes. How successful it will be remains to be seen.
On some of the famous CS2 websites, hundreds of people seemed less than pleased with the free classes offered by s1mple’s site. But maybe they’re just haters. You can’t possibly know until you try for yourself.
The free lessons are available as soon as you register, which can be done in just one minute. All you need is a username and an email address.
I’m ready to unveil my CS2 project @playlikes1mple. Here I will share all the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career so you can improve your game and become a much better player. The 1 of 3 free lessons is already available at https://t.co/VuEUFaxIfy and it’s just the start pic.twitter.com/dillp6BT7Q

The Benefits Of Learning From The Best
Highly skilled players understand the game very differently than most. They can look at any position and instantly know what the optimal continuation would be. They can also tell you in advance what you’re supposed to do to improve and achieve great results.
With his coaching program, s1mple is attempting to do just that. He obviously has the expertise required to give people good CS2 advice. But does he have the teaching skills required to transfer that knowledge to other people, who might have less than a fraction of his experience and talent? That is for you to decide.
If you want to learn a foreign language, the best approach is to surround yourself with people who speak it fluently and then attempt to speak it yourself on a daily basis. When you listen to s1mple, you won’t learn much English or Ukrainian. But you can definitely learn some CS2.
Depending on your current level, the course may be more or less relevant. Highly advanced players will likely require individual lessons because their needs and questions will be highly specific. But for a Gold Nova player, a general tutorial should be quite helpful in learning the fundamentals.
