The recent “almost-trnasfer” of Finlay “rise.” Ferguson to North America caused a sensation in the Rocket League scene, but the transfer move didn’t materialize for the time being. However, the entry of Ninjas in Pyjamas, among other moves, is causing a stir.
One of the top players of the past year going to North America — that would have been a bitter loss for the European scene. But the transfer didn’t come through, and rise. switched from Moist Esports to Oxygen Esports, staying in Europe for now.
Europe
Due to the change, Ole “oaly.” van Doorn (formerly Oxygen) is now without a team and could not qualify for the main RLCS event. In Rotterdam, he seemed like the engine of the team, but now, he seems to be condemned to just watch.

The gap caused by rise. created at Mois was filled by the Frenchman Charles “juicy” Sabiani. He was able to qualify for all three Regionals with Heet over the course of the season, but never finished higher than fifth place.
Other transfers:
- Monkey’s roster is taken over by Sonqis
- Stake leaves GUILD Esports, Gomb is the new third player on the roster
- simas leaves Enpoint Cex while German player emre joins the roster
- maaivy becomes a sub at Team BDS
North America
Nothing is happening in the top seven in North America. But at FURIA, CAiOTG1 moves back to South America and is replaced by The Club’s Lostt. Therefore the roster remains completely Brazilian, only the coach is American.

Outside of the top ten in North America, Dignitas wants to gain a stronger foothold and build on the successful period in Europe. Delta is leaving the team and is therefore being replaced by Evoh. EVOH previously played for XSET, who currently have no roster for the upcoming split. The situation is similar with Luminosity Gaming, whose move to the North American continent was not crowned with success either. Like XSET, the organization currently has no roster in Rocket League.
Moreover, Ninjas in Pyjamas enter the Rocket League scene, CAiOTG1, AztromicK and Bemmz make up the roster that will represent the Swedish organization.

Oceania
Somewhat of a surprise, a move to Australia saw Superlachie leave the Pioneers and join Ground Zero Gaming instead., where he will form a team with kaka and Fiberr. Furthermore, Pioneers — the second-best team from Oceania — have dissolved their roster and Scrub and Bananahead are now left without a third mate.
The perfect player to round off our #RLCS roster…

The region seems to be always open to exciting twists and turns when it comes to organizational issues, and this time there are also minor surprises. M7sN joins Rule One, SunlessKhan’s organization, from the Twisted Minds. As a result, T7LM fills up the Twisted Minds roster and leaves an empty spot on EMPTY.
WELCOME @rl_m7sn! 🟡 🟠 🔴
As of today, M7sN joins the Rule One family to compete alongside @Rw9_rl and @kiileerrz!

This, in turn, moves Faisal up the EMPTY starting roster. And where does the EMPTY roster come from? Geekay Esports had released their roster, which reinvigorated EMPTY. Coming back to Rule One, Nadr was fired and is now playing for the Mircale Makers.
Asia Pacific
In Asia Pacific, team James Cheese has been acquired by the American esports org Elevate. virtuoso, ReaLize, Kamii and coach LBP joined the organization and will continue competing under the org’s name.

Things are also getting interesting in Asia at Nimmt55, Maru is joining the roster again, but shaolon is moving to the coaching position. Also, J1 is leaving Tough Love and Aech is returning to the roster. In the old or new constellation, Lycus Empire takes over the roster.
The transfer update was created on January 26, 2023, changes may still be made. One of the reasons for this is also the Alpha Boost ban wave by Psyonix.
