Survive the Sniper is a game that blends survival and parkour elements. From the moment you spawn in, you can begin progressing through various terrains and dodging bullets. Snipers have to take out runners who are racing to become the next sniper. Despite launching just under two months ago, Survive the Sniper has over 8.3 million visits, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a lobby.
Survive the Sniper Map and Stage Layout
There are five overall stages that runners need to clear:
Road Area
Early part, broken vehicles and road barriers cover the path.
Snow and Ice Section
Slippery ground with snow drifts, cover available, the footing is more difficult.
Desert Terrain
There, you find barrels and boxes lying on the ground, some opportunity for cover.
Later Stages
As you move along, the cover begins to disappear, with more open areas.
Final Approach
The final areas are wide open, practically no cover whatsoever, so it’s the toughest.
Maps are designed so that at the start the cover is greater, gradually it lessens, and the threat grows.
Game Mechanics and Tools

To play well, need to be familiar with the core mechanics:
- Crouch: hold indefinitely, useful to remain behind cover.
- Slide: quick movement to avoid bullets, but the cooldown prevents using too many.
- Smoke Bomb / Flashbang: shatters sniper sight, but you have to buy Robux for more ammo.
- Sprint Buffs: quicker speed, too, but only by buying Robux.
- Respawn: You respawn from the map start when you are killed.
Playing as Runner
The objective is simple enough: you have to get to the sniper tower alive. Some good ideas:
- Always stay close to cover if you can.
- If you remain in a position for too long, the sniper adjusts aim and kills you.
- Crouch and slide together so the movement is not readable.
- Smoke and flash when there are no objects to cover the area.
- Know maps thoroughly, and we work where boxes and obstacles were beforehand.
Playing as Sniper

If you are eliminated, you will respawn at the beginning of the course. The first player to reach the end of the map and the sniper’s tower alive will become the next sniper.
As the sniper, you can zoom in with your scope and shoot singular shots at incoming players in quick succession. Ammo is infinite, allowing you to use as many bullets as you need to defend your turf.
