In the North American region, Riot Games announced a partnership with Verizon for the Wild Rift esports. Verizon will be a long-term founding partner for the game’s esports expansion in the North American region, according to the release.

Riot NA and Verizon previously collaborated on Riot’s League of Legends and Valorant games. Similar to Valorant and LOL esports, Verizon will be in charge of promoting Wild Rift Esport across the North American region. For the newly announced wild rift esports, the telecom carrier will collaborate with Riot to offer an immersive fan experience.

Verizon will also be featured in broadcasts and commercials for the game’s forthcoming esports event as part of the arrangement. Verizon will also be able to use Wild Rift to promote the game through its social media platforms.

Last month, Coca-Cola was named as the Wild Rift esports global founding partner. Riot and Coca-Cola will collaborate for the Wild Rift’s global esports tournament, although Riot’s partnership with Verizon will be limited to the North American region.

Coca-Cola will be in charge of creating unique fan experiences for both League of Legends: Wild Rift and the esports ecosystem of the game. The brand will collaborate with Riot to create content and entertain the gaming community. This collaboration will allow the organizations to connect with the community through their weekly content and custom rewards.

Wild Rift North American Series

The upcoming Wild Rift North American Series, the first season of a completely new esports event developed for the title, will have Verizon as its official 5G Network and wireless service provider. Riot recently announced the inaugural Wild Rift North America Series (WNS) with their esports partner Wisdom gaming.

The Championships will kick off on April 29 at Bloomington, Minnesota, and will conclude on May 1. The event will also provide players the opportunity to qualify for the Wild Rift’s first world championship, which will be contested this summer with 24 teams from various regions.

The partnership was quite predictable since Riot Games and Verizon have previously collaborated on a number of tournaments, including the Mid-Season Invitational, the League’s most prestigious and competitive tournament.

Wild Rift Esports has a bright future ahead of it, with Verizon, Coca-Cola, and Wisdom Gaming already on board. Get ready for some high-quality esports action and thrilling matchups in the opening season of Wild Rift esports set to kick off on April 29..
