Riot Games revealed its newest musical production during the League of Legends Worlds 2024 broadcast. Called “Blood Sweat & Tears,” the song, which was released along with a music video, also served to promote major news about the company’s MOBA. Among them, mainly, Ambessa Medarda, the character from the animated series Arcane who will become playable in League of Legends in all possible modes of the game.
In the official music video released by Riot, Ambessa appears lying on the ground, having been pierced by an arrow. It is also possible to notice that she is pregnant, the result of her relationship with Mel Medarda, who is also a character in Arcane. While on the ground, a wolf approaches the new League of Legends champion, transporting her to a completely different dimension from the scenario she was in at the time of the video.

The animation also shows Ambessa challenging Pantheon (perhaps a new rivalry is coming?), and in the end, receiving the gift of life from the hands of Kindred, who in the history of the League of Legends world, are the representation of death. As soon as she accepts the gift, the wolf, which appears at the beginning of the video, does not attack Ambessa on the ground, and she manages to remove the arrow that pierces her. Watch the video:
Through the new music, Riot revealed a new line of “Chosen of The Wolf” skins
In addition to the video and song promoting Ambessa Medarda, Riot Games also used the audiovisual production to promote a new line of League of Legends skins: Chosen of The Wolf. Analyzing the characters that appear in the animation, we can conclude that Ambessa, Pantheon, Swain and Kindred will be part of this new collection of skins released by the MOBA. Previous leaks also showed that Swain will have a prestige version available.
When will the champion Ambessa be released in League of Legends?
The new champion of Riot Games’ MOBA will be released as soon as patch 14.22 is available, with an expected arrival on official servers on November 6, 2024. In addition to the champion, Riot will also make available a new version of the ARAM map and significant changes to champions and the game in general.
