Riot Games’ League of Legends TCG, Riftbound, already has its full 2026 plan ready. The year will feature four new sets—Spiritforged, Unleashed, Vendetta, and Radiance. After the strong start with Origins, these sets will add even more champions, new mechanics, and plenty of collectible cards. Below is an easy breakdown of the Riftbound 2026 release timeline and what each upcoming set will bring.

Riftbound: Spiritforged (Set 2) – February 2026

The first big release in the Riftbound 2026 roadmap is Spiritforged. It will launch worldwide on February 13, 2026, while China gets it earlier on December 12, 2025. This is the game’s second full expansion and adds 221 new cards, including 12 new champions such as Azir, Irelia, Draven, Lucian, Ezreal, Fiora, and Ornn. Fiora is the only champion returning from the Origins set — the rest are completely new to the game.

Spiritforged also brings 30 Overnumbered cards and new Signature variants, giving players more ways to build and customize their decks. This set starts off 2026 strong and helps shape the direction of the year’s upcoming expansions.

Riftbound: Unleashed (Set 3) – May 2026

The next expansion in the Riftbound 2026 roadmap is the Unleashed set, which is scheduled for May 2026. Riot showed the first teaser art at PAX Unplugged, and while they haven’t revealed many cards yet, the artwork confirms Vi, Master Yi, LeBlanc, and Rengar will be included. This likely means they will be the main champions for the set.

Riot will share more information early next year, and the card reveals should start a few months before the launch. As Riftbound’s third set, Unleashed will bring new mechanics and fresh playstyles based on these featured champions.

Riftbound: Vendetta (Set 4) – Late 2026

Vendetta is the third Riftbound 2026 expansion and will launch in the second half of the year. This set matters because Riot wants to start releasing the game globally at the same time. Right now, the China and English versions often come out months apart, but Riot is hoping to sync their release dates with Vendetta. However, they also said they’re still working out the details.

The teaser image for Vendetta shows Akali, Mel, and Ambessa, and this is the first time Mel and Ambessa have appeared as possible champions in Riftbound. Riot hasn’t revealed the full list of champions or the new mechanics yet, but we should hear more news around mid-2026.

Riftbound: Radiance (Set 5) – End of 2026

Radiance is the last set planned for the Riftbound 2026 lineup, and it’s expected to launch sometime in the final months of the year. Unlike the other expansions, almost nothing is known about it yet—Riot hasn’t revealed any artwork, champion teasers, or gameplay features.

Because of that, many players believe Radiance will be a big, flashy set meant to wrap up the year on a strong note, much like how other card games end their annual releases. We’ll likely start seeing real information once Vendetta has launched.

Conclusion

Riftbound 2026 Roadmap All Upcoming Sets and Expected Release Timeline (6)

After what Origins brought as the game’s first set, many are expecting more exciting content. The Spiritforged preview season isn’t disappointing anyway, with 221 beautifully designed cards, 12 new champions, and interesting mechanics. With this build up, players can possibly expect more when the focus shifts to Unleashed, then Vendetta and Radiance coming later in the year. All four sets are planned, and Riftbound 2026 is ready to bring plenty of new champions, strategies, and surprises for fans all year long.
