Red Bull Racing sells two different simulators with the same dimensions as the single-seater used in the 2022 F1 season. But, of course, we are talking about the Red Bull RB18 used by world champion Max Verstappen.

The simulator is offered in two different versions; the cheaper version can be purchased for € 86k, and the more expensive version costs € 115k.

Red Bull Racing Simulators

The simulators sold by Red Bull Racing are identical to those used by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez last season. They are based on the look and regulations of the premier class.

The manufacturing process of the simulators is the same as the cars used by the F1 drivers, and the same computer-aided CAD data is used.

Simulator specifications

The Red Bull simulators have integrated speakers and a curved screen from the AOC Gaming line. In addition, the pedals can be adjusted to suit different heights.

On the other hand, the steering wheel features a Logitech Z906 Ultimate THX surround sound system, Force Feedback, and the Go-Race Quick-Release system.

Despite the simulators’ similarity with F1 vehicles, you should know that these are not the simulators the drivers use.

Different versions of Red Bull Racing simulators

As we mentioned before, one of the main differences is the selling price. The cheapest edition is the Racing Edition, available for about € 85k. At the same time, the plus version of the Championship Edition costs € 115k.

Let’s talk about other differences; the Racing Edition has a short front spoiler, unlike the Championship Edition, which has a full front spoiler.

It can be said that the front wing is very similar to the model used by the Red Bull drivers in 2022.

In addition, the Racing Edition, with the full configuration, including the Red Bull simulator hardware, weighs about 150 kg. In the case of the Championship Edition, the weight of the simulator increases by approximately 10 kg, reaching 160 kg.

We have good news for all those interested in the Racing Edition and Championship Edition simulators; they are already on sale, and if you want to buy any of them, you should go to the F1 Authentics website.

Finally, we must comment that the Red Bull Racing team is no stranger to simulations, as the team’s star driver and world champion often compete on websites like iRacing. Verstappen has even competed in rFactor 2 world championships. In addition, he has a simulator in his private plane to practice while traveling from one circuit to another.
