Ubisoft’s latest Rainbow Six Siege update, X Y10S3.3, introduces several operator balance changes to enhance gameplay and respond to player concerns. Ubisoft has spent time adjusting weapons, abilities, and load-outs on many operators in a quest to create a more balanced and usable operator pool challenge on both offense and defense.

Denari has been adjusted to improve her potential to produce sightlines and rotation holes. Her T.R.I.P. Connector now does 20 damage, and connectors reconnect immediately after a line-of-sight interruption. The Glaive-12 Shotgun has increased damage from 63 to 67, and is improved with a weapon range drop off of 15 meters, improved recoil control, and improved hip fire accuracy. Her total ammo has increased as well, from 29 to 44 total ammo, giving her long-range sustainability in completed engagements. These changes just make Denari more accurate and dependable in-game.

To contribute to player versatility, both Jäger and Bandit will receive secondary weapons. Jäger can now equip the P-10C handgun, which is a practical option for mid-range combat, especially when paired with a primary shotgun. Bandit receives the Keratos .357 revolver. This new weapon allows Bandit to independently create holes in exterior walls during the preparation phase of a match. These additions provide players with more options in how they carry out their defensive strategies.

Solis Receives Enhancements to Ability and Loadout

Improvements have also been made to Solis’s SPEC-IO ability, including a maximum detection range of 20 meters, a maximum overclock duration of 15 seconds, and a minimum charge required of 25%. Solis’s loadout has been improved for players by providing Impact Grenades and removing the Bulletproof Camera. These changes substantially improve Solis’s role as one of the more dynamic roamers in the game and provide for additional proactive engagement from the player against opponents.

The Y10S3.3 update demonstrates that improving operator capabilities is a commitment from Ubisoft, and they are working to improve match quality. These measured approaches will result in improving tactical options and adjusted gameplay.
