Ubisoft is adding another defender in Rainbow Six Siege X with the new operator Denari, a Swiss operator who comes in Operation High Stake. He brings precision, utility, and firepower, making him one of the most flexible defenders added in recent years.
Denari’s Gadget: T.R.I.P. Connectors
Denari’s main utility in his kit is his gadget, the T.R.I.P. Connectors. T.R.I.P. Connectors are small devices that can be placed on almost any surface, wall, ceiling, or floor. T.R.I.P. Connectors look a bit like Valkyrie’s mirrors but function quite differently.

When two or three connectors are placed within 20 meters of each other, they connect through visible laser lines, creating a web of tripwires. If attackers cross through any of the tripwire laser lines, they become slowed, making subtle changes to their overall movement and forcing them to change their overall approach to attacking mid-round.
The true value of T.R.I.P. Connectors is how you place them. You can block a hallway, funnel attackers into crossfire, or delay plants. Also, placement and coordination with other teammates is important, especially because of continuous use of T.R.I.P. Connectors during preparation and set-up.
Weapons & Loadout

Denari has strong options outside his gadget. His loadout includes:
- Primary Weapons: Scorpion EVO 3 A1 – a fast SMG, previously only on Ela. Glaive-12 – a slug shotgun, 63 damage per shot, four shells per reload.
- Secondary Weapons: P229 Handgun – standard pistol. Tactical Crossbow – offers utility and creative tactical use
- Gadget Choices: Bulletproof Shield – good for locking down sites. Observation Blocker – cuts off enemy vision and intel
This setup lets Denari work as both an anchor and a roamer, depending on team needs.
Playstyle & Operator Rating
Denari has a 2-speed, 2-armor balance that allows good mobility without being overly weak in fights. His traps lend to a defensive style of play, but he can also roam effectively due to his weapon options.
The key feature of Denari is flexibility. His gadget forces the attacker to counter, and his loadout means he isn’t weak under any circumstance.

As Season 3 develops, Denari should change the way defenders take control of space. The T.R.I.P. Connectors will create new defensive structures, while his array of weapons and utility means he will be useful in most approaches. It will be interesting to see how professional players bring him into a competitive environment where every second counts.
Ubisoft has shown us again that Siege’s operator lineup is always developing, and Denari could be one of the defenders that shifts the balance in matches.
