In the Rainbow Six North American League, Spacestation were finally able to take revenge for the August Major. DarkZero Esports had to take a rough beating and will get a second chance versus eUnited. On the other side of the bracket, TSM took down Tempo Storm for a near-perfect victory.
TSM 2-0 TEMPO STORM
The word ‘steamrolling’ doesn’t really do this match justice. After a solid 2-1 versus Oxygen Esports, Tempo Storm looked to be able to at least dent the giants of TSM. Instead, they were only able to acquire one single round. On two maps.
Bryan “Merc” Wrzek earned himself a 1.73 rating with 22 Kills. On Hibana and Maestro, he took his opponents apart and gave Tempo Storm no opportunity to get into the match. Tim “Creators” Humpherys was the only one on the TS side to show some resemblance of a performance, but he was still in the negative at the end of the match. For TSM, this is a fantastic result. While they were the absolute favorites for this engagement, no one had predicted them to win this decisively. This will surely make their future opponents quite nervous.
With the very first 7️⃣-0️⃣ in the #R6NAL and only dropping a single round, @TSM look DOMINANT against @Tempo_Storm! ? pic.twitter.com/YAWpfCYws9

SSG 2-0 DARKZERO
Spacestation had a lot to prove after their Major fluke. Their face-off with DarkZero became a rematch of the Major opening duel, which DZ had managed to win back then. But since then, over a month has passed – enough time for SSG to identify and fix their mistakes. It now looks as though they were successful in that endeavor.
On the defense of Kafé, Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski and his men were well-tuned. SSG got a 4-2 lead at halftime and also secured their first attacking round. On Reading/Dining, they planted the defuser, but were unable to fend off the Tempo Storm retake. Afterwards, they pulled through in two straight rounds, netting them a quick 7-3 victory.
On Villa, things got a bit closer. With 3-3, the teams pulled equal at halftime, but SSG were on the defense next. There, they put up a solid display and in a tense fight, they managed to win this one extra round that set them on top of DarkZero with a 7-5 scoreline. While they certainly didn’t sweep their opponents off the floor, they have now shown to be able to contend with the Major winners again.
Dear @DarkZeroGG, please see Troy. He has your teeth ?

DarkZero Esports have another lifeline in their pursuit of the Phase 2 Upper Bracket. To get there, however, they need to win over eUnited, who managed to get incredibly close to winning over Canadian and his boys in their Opening Match. So DarkZero are not guaranteed to make it and face yet another tough challenge.
